Below are the mainstream grades of titanium and titanium alloy tubes we supply, with detailed property introduction and typical industrial applications for each grade.
Gr1
Industrial pure titanium with the lowest oxygen content, featuring outstanding ductility.
It is ideal for scenarios demanding high plasticity and corrosion resistance, including chemical reactor linings, flexible pipelines, electrode materials, and non-load-bearing medical components such as oral restoration structures.
Gr2
The most widely used industrial pure titanium, with well-balanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
Extensively applied in seawater desalination units, heat exchangers, marine hardware, architectural decorative parts, and welded chemical pressure vessels.
Gr3
Medium-strength industrial pure titanium. It possesses higher strength than Gr2 while with slightly reduced ductility.
Suitable for medium-load anti-corrosion parts, such as low-pressure valve bodies, chemical pump housings, and medical device shells.
Gr4
The highest-strength grade among industrial pure titanium series.
It is adopted for non-load-bearing bone plates, dental implant structures, and high-corrosion-resistant fasteners, with excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.
Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V)
The most universal α+β type titanium alloy, characterized by high strength and elevated temperature resistance.
Typical applications: aero-engine blades, landing gear components, artificial joints, rocket fuel tanks, and high-end sports goods like bicycle frames.
Gr7 (Ti-0.2Pd)
Palladium-alloyed titanium with superior corrosion resistance, especially outstanding performance in reducing acid environments.
Widely used in reaction kettles, electroplating equipment, chemical pipelines, and valves serving under sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other strong corrosive media.
Gr11 (Low-oxygen Ti-0.2Pd)
Low-oxygen palladium titanium alloy with excellent ductility.
It is specially used for corrosion-resistant parts requiring complex plastic forming, including bellows, deep-drawn chemical containers, and expansion joints, integrating great corrosion resistance and formability.
Gr12 (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni)
Molybdenum-nickel alloyed titanium, with excellent pitting corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance.
It is applicable to deep-sea valves, geothermal well casings, and high-temperature oil refinery pipelines under high-pressure and severe corrosive working conditions.
According to different project requirements on mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, temperature endurance and biocompatibility, customers can select the most suitable titanium tube grade accordingly.
